Data Transfer (Cloud Storage)

If you are going from a Chromebook to another Chromebook, your data will be transferred no problem at all, but if you are going from a Mac or Windows device, you will need to upload your data to Google Drive, this is something I can help with.

Virus Removal (System Reset)

Chromebooks don't get viruses like Macs or Windows devices, but they can still slow down like other devices. If your Chromebook is running slow, we advice on getting the Chromebook reset which I complete for you. Please see 'System Reset' below for information.

Data Back-up

I’ll back up the data on your Chromebook so if you lose anything, you’ll have a spare copy of it. I will also offer advice on how to back up photos & files moving forward.

System Reset

I’ll return your Chromebook to factory settings so you can start afresh. This would also be handy if you were selling the device. This resolves most operating system issues.

Operating System Upgrade

I’ll install the latest operating system and check it’s working smoothly.

Hardware Diagnostics & Repair

Something not working properly? This may be faulty hardware causing this, we can diagnose and repair the issue.

Data Wipe

I’ll completely wipe the data from your device to keep your personal details safe and secure. This would be if you were disposing of the device. Nothing will be installed after this.

New Device Setup

Just got your new Chromebook but have no idea how to set it up? Don't worry I can help. I will make sure you have all the settings correctly configured and will also make sure you are storing your data somewhere safe such as cloud storage.

Cloud Storage

£25

I would firstly explain what cloud storage is and how cloud storage works. I would then discuss the cloud options available and which best suits your needs whether that be Google Drive, OneDrive or iCloud.

I would then start uploading your files and photos to the chosen cloud storage. Once they have been uploaded I will make sure you have the apps on all your devices so you are able to access your files and sync across devices.

(There may be additional costs depending on the amount of data you need to backup, all of which can be discussed)
